During the outing, the students acted as botanists, observing the characteristics of different trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants found in and around the gardens. To identify each species, they used a dichotomous key, learning to differentiate plants based on aspects such as leaf shape, trunk type, flowers, and fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our students from the 1st year of Secondary Education carried out a research and identification activity on plant species in the gardens of the Palace of Viso del Marqu\u00e9s. This activity helped develop spatial awareness, teamwork, and direct scientific observation of the environment. These presentations included photographs, common and scientific names, main characteristics, interesting facts, and uses for each plant. Finally, all the presentations were transformed into QR codes, which will be engraved and printed using a laser cutter.
